Tag&Rename
Tag&Rename is a very powerful audio Tagging and Renaming application. This is an outstanding program for the Classical music listener as often the tagging of classical music can be quite difficult (due to the abundance of recordings and differences in tagging them). It has the ability to check multiple on-line sources for the appropriate file information for your music. A commercial app which is highly recommended.
AudioShell
A FREE application from the company which makes Tag&Rename. This adds the ability to tag your files right into the Windows system when viewing the audio file properties. A wonderful free application for making changes to your file tags outside of Media Player.
Xrecode
An outstanding FREE application which will convert your audio files from almost any format into almost any format. Perfect for converting your audio files from whatever file format you may have into The Black Boxes preferred WMA Lossless or WavPack formats.
Jaadu RDP (iPod and iPhone Remote Control)
For our users with an iPod Touch or iPhone, a remote desktop application which allows you to control your Black Box from any location with wireless internet access (home or away); a simple application which puts The Black Box interface right on your iPod or iPhone. Easy to set up and use. You can also decide to leave the audio playing from your Black Box, or have it stream directly to your iPod/iPhone wherever you are. An excellent tutorial assists with the setup and use of the application.
iTeleport for iPad (also by Jaadu)
Use the new iPad as a remote for The Black Box™.
Third-Party Media Managers*
These are third-party applications which can manage and play your music collection on your Black Box. While they may offer some new and interesting features/functions, they are unsupported by Blue Smoke Entertainment Systems as we can not guarantee the quality of your audio experience when using them.
